From Monday 25th September 2023, electric scooters must not be brought on board any Stagecoach service, even if the battery pack has been removed. This safety step is due to the batteries on e-scooters being a known fire risk and multiple fires occurring on UK public transport.

Residents in Torbay will be harder hit than other communities in the UK due to people in Torbay renting in the private sector more than the national average.

Earlier this week our MP in Torbay voted to suppress our unobstructed right to vote. Sadly, this was pushed through in the Lords. Conservatives are suppressing the rights of those more on the margins of society to be able to cast their vote.

MPs set to vote on photo ID for elections this week. This must be delayed as the Government have failed to give councils enough time to gear up for this change in the voting system.

Delighted that we are seeing further progress on this site. It is disappointing that all Conservative councillors for Paignton voted against crucial funding to get this project moving.
