Here's to strong women.
May we know them
May we be them
May we raise them

Without trade unions we wouldn't have:
• Annual leave
• Sick pay
• A minimum wage
• A two day weekend
• Maternity leave
• Protection from workplace discrimination
• 8 hour working days
• Redundancy pay
• Health and safety in the workplace
• Workplace pensions
Thank you for the tons of work you did day in day out.
You were an outstanding candidate and a great councillor.
You are the real Wythenshawe.
You are a fighter.
You will be back with us.
Only one week to go until local elections in Manchester 🗳 🌹

Since being elected in 2015 I have always been open and honest with residents in Woodhouse Park. This is what you can expect from me if re-elected on 5th May. Disappointing that the Green Party made a blatant attempt to mislead Woodhouse Park voters.
A very enjoyable afternoon in Wythenshawe with our fab @McrLabour candidate @sarahjudge90. Sarah is a hardworking councillor & campaigner for local people, as captured brilliantly in song by Claire Mooney. 🎶 Lots of support for Sarah & Labour on the doorsteps.
Really great afternoon! Thanks @AndyBurnhamGM@bevcraig@MikeKaneMP and team @WHPLabour. Special thanks to @MooneyInfo for coming along and singing for us! It was really fantastic to feel such support! Appreciate it! Labour on your side all year round!
If you plan to vote via post in the upcoming May elections, you need to apply by 5pm today.

On 5th May I am up for re-election in Woodhouse Park. Massive thanks to the legend that is @MooneyInfo for writing a song to help get me re-elected so I can keep doing the work I love helping my community! #LocalElections2022#LabourParty#wythenshawe
We are INCREDIBLY proud of the turnout at our annual #WalkforWomen this afternoon.
💜💚
Thousands of women and supporters of women came together to celebrate #IWD2022 on Deansgate.
Here’s a few clips if you missed it! @ManchesterIWD
Manchester looks forward to the annual Pride Festival celebrating diversity across the city. 🌈
Our Lead Members for LGBT+, Cllr Julia Baker-Smith (@JBakerSmith81) & Cllr Chris Wills (@crispeater), issue a statement to everyone attending Pride this weekend.
This England team deserve to be lauded as heroes, not racially abused on social media.
Those responsible for this appalling abuse should be ashamed of themselves.
