@GovInslee @WA_OIC Does this in turn mean those individuals with good credit will see their rates go up? Seems like the only way forward as insurance companies will have to account for increased risk when pooling everyone together. Will you guarantee this won’t penalize those with good credit?
This is just bad policy. We need to find moderate approaches to fix the systemic problems that are making Seattle an unsafe place to live. Former Seattle public safety advisor stated, “I'm not aware of any legislation like this anywhere in the United States (or) even globally.”
@GovInslee Every restaurant I’ve been to adheres strictly to given covid mandates, including mask wearing and social distancing. Why are we closing them? Upwards of 35% of restaurants may remain permanently closed due to this.
@GovInslee Maybe you should take a walk around downtown Seattle and see how many businesses have closed due to this and riots. The City Council also deplores any sort of business, large or small, so they’re leaving in droves. Good luck managing a dying city that was the main draw to WA.
@MayorJenny The city needs to first address the homelessness and decay on the streets. Coming from an equally expensive East Coast city, this is not a result of unaffordable housing, but rather turning a blind eye to drug use and hamstringing those who might be able to fix the problem.
French President Emmanuel Macron announced that, starting tomorrow, he will launch an international fundraising campaign for the Notre Dame cathedral. "We will rebuild this cathedral together." https://t.co/s5ma7OHj6E
This is the screen that set off the ballistic missile alert on Saturday. The operator clicked the PACOM (CDW) State Only link. The drill link is the one that was supposed to be clicked. #Hawaii
