Today we remember Charlotte Maxeke who was born on 7 April, in 1871. She is the founder of Bantu Women’s League (BWL) which later became ANC Women’s League. She is the first black woman to graduate with a Bachelor of Science Degree in our country.

Everytime we take students to Constitution Hill they get shocked. My class had some white students last year and one of them cried because she said she didn’t know apartheid was bad, because her parents don’t talk to them about it & don’t allow discussions about it.

African bank sent me an sms to tell me that due to inactivity, they’ve closed my account. And that I can pass by any branch with my ID to collect the remaining balance.
My mind is blown because Standard Bank on the other hand, quietly charged me banking fees for 6 years on my youth account that I even forgot I ever had. I had to pay like 8k to close it eventually.
