"... The moral thing I should wish to say to them is very simple: I should say, love is wise, hatred is foolish..."

Sometimes I get a wild plan in my head and it won't go away.
Then I see something and that wild plan becomes the only thing in my head.
I know I can do this.
Let's see if we can do this?
Hey @Authy@AuthyHelp, please look at the differences between your Android and iOS apps.
So much vertical space wasted on Android (iOS gets 4 rows!) and I can't even see the TOTP code without dismissing the keyboard!
Where can I file a bug report? 😅
@therealjayriot Ah fair enough. I always hate to see new stuff setup and these kind of things forgotten. There was some place I went to years ago and my cellular internet was miles faster than their overloaded WiFi. But I am an infrastructure person, so my priorities are wack sometimes 🤣
@therealjayriot Well, there is 'internet', and then there is INTERNET. 😂
I am referring to the kind of internet that can handle dozens and dozens of high bandwidth usage devices and 150GB+ game downloads and not causing a bit of jitter. 😅
@mholt6 What model do you have?
I mostly do light web browsing and connecting to my desktop (via Android RDP app) & ssh to servers, though it's become my 'take with me when I leave the house' just because its nicer to use than my phone for emergency issues.

@mholt6 Chromebooks are certainly pretty limited, but yours seems extra bad!
I picked up a Chromebook for around $70 a month or so ago to act as a 'couch laptop'.
Other than the screen being small, everything I need is in the Linux shell or available in the Android system.
@TriniNetEng @CCIE2B_Paul But preventing rogue devices is one of the reasons to keep switch ports disabled (or as I used to do it: keeping the default untagged VLAN on a dedicated 'neonate' VLAN with alerting on DHCP, which makes field config of new/replacement devices and rogue device detection easier)
@TriniNetEng @CCIE2B_Paul 😂I used to manage a few thousand access points and have also done some pretty unique installs in Home/SMB environments.
I haven't had to use a Wi-Spy in quite a while and I am pretty ok with that.
@TriniNetEng @CCIE2B_Paul I too missed the Linksys on the first look.
At least it's inside the cabinet; hopefully the attenuation from the metal killed the signal quite a bit!
@searchbound@joshmanders@geoff_selby@NameNinja@BillSweetman haha that's what was assuming.
I can (barely) rationalize the costs of my own colocation space ("The servers can go to a datacenter so the kids can have more space!") but even 5% of that would be absurd for just a nifty (but cool) email address.
@searchbound@joshmanders@geoff_selby@NameNinja@BillSweetman I assume the fees for domain broker services make it out of range for a personal domain, right?
I am still bummed I lost my personal domain (due to a paperwork/registry issue, essentially).
I would be happy to cast my ESPN+ to News4Jax if needed. 😂 The quality is pretty good and I forget it's free with whatever Hulu+/Disney+ package we have.
@greg_doucette BTW: If you already have rechargeable AA batteries in your household workflow, they will work perfectly fine; no need to get the dedicated batt packs. Also, the USB-C port will power the controller (not charge), so my couch phone charger can double as controller power in a pinch.
@ChefJags Did you figure it out? All you gotta do is enter the code and it will take you to the game (that is licensed via the code).
You can also do it online (https://t.co/fLdOCYbcLA) but then you have to go to the Xbox itself to download.
@WinObs I hope to soon finish my multi-gbit network upgrade too! My router (Mikrotik RB5009) has a 2.5gbit & 10gbit SFP+ port, which works well with Comcast's CPE without being overkill.
Used 10Gbit NICs and SFP+ modules are so cheap on Ebay nowadays too.
