@timcairns Much may depend on evangelical voter base of DUP. That element of US Republican Party were willing to accept Trump as long as he reversed Roe case. It’s not so much JD’s adulterous bisexual behaviour; it’s that some of DUP did know & held their noses. TUV will capitalise.

@SJAMcBride Until the DUP divorces the party from issues of personal conscience & morality they are relentlessly facing further electoral decline. Unionism should not be dominated by religious values. This could be viewed as the DUP’s ‘paedophile priest’ moment. Take the secular path?

I regularly have walked around the Mall in Armagh. The massive increase in HGVs using this route in last few years may indicate similar, both cross-border & in NI.

Actions have consequences;
Rights must be balanced by responsibilities.
As a senior school manager for a quarter century, I felt that these were crucial in preserving school equilibrium. All national parties need to consider these.
