@AEthelswin Not criticising detectives by any means but the fact that she says that shows her understanding of city centre policing is nowt. The officer did control the situation and I would use a sweary word or 2 if I had just been punched to the head!
@TonyKent_Writes Bit of a sweeping generalisation there mate- I’m not a tv engineer but I can turn a tele on. It’s not the same as doing the actual job though. End of the day you put your hands on a cop you get the jail the ifs and buts are for any criminal proceedings that come after. 👍
@TonyKent_Writes The best evidence extended video shows the “victim” being as much the aggressor as the others. Then you should know, not to comment until all evidence is collated and presented. Figures, criticise those who run into danger whilst never doing their job 🤷♂️
@TonyKent_Writes I see an incident between all parties ongoing prior to the short https://t.co/aoNIrmQxKO neither of us were present, context matters which will be provided be the witnesses/police present. Calling an officer a coward who puts herself in harms way everyday isn’t a good look mate
@Mercianwarrior1@Bills_gallery@TheNorfolkLion But they didn’t and proportionality has to play a role. You don’t investigate a shoplifting the way you investigate a murder.Carry out investigation to link the stolen bike to someone in that address. No point arresting when your evidence is at an early stage
@Mercianwarrior1@Bills_gallery@TheNorfolkLion No- in someone’s back garden doesn’t prove as receiving. There could be 10 people registered at that address- charge everyone for receiving? Thats even if it’s anything to do with that house! Could have been dumped there. Householder could be a 90yr old
@murdo_fraser@netflix@PoliceScotland Always worrying when a wannabe politician makes a statement based on a Netflix drama with plenty of editing for mass appeal 😤🤦

@JoannaLambCDC@Joe_Killday@STVNews Offcourse they’ve been found Joanna, they went missing of their own accord as 99% of the 1000’s of missing kids that get “reported” every year in Scotland.
@KennyK_osss@EvacTony Stuart no matter how many times I explain it to you I can’t make you understand it! But I do love an underdog story so here goes…in my experience, people who call the police scumbags tend to blame everyone for their own problems hence my initial reply.
