It just cracks me up that Sweden thinks they can stop FSD because people can set higher speed limits. Have they ever driven ANY car with normal cruise control? 😂😂
📢 What are Europe’s other countries waiting for?! 🇪🇺
Since April 10, drivers in the Netherlands have had access to FSD Supervised through national approval by the RDW. Lithuania and Estonia followed, and Belgium is moving too.
So why are countries like Germany 🇩🇪, France 🇫🇷, Italy 🇮🇹, Sweden 🇸🇪, Switzerland 🇨🇭, Austria 🇦🇹, and the UK 🇬🇧 still waiting for slow procedures and delays?
The data is there. Article 39 gives countries the option to act nationally instead of waiting endlessly for bureaucracy.
Europe should not delay innovation and road safety while others are already taking action. Citizens deserve access to safer driving technology now. 🚗
The @ETSC_EU going full throttle on the anti-FSD path again
They try so hard to stay relevant and in doing so completely undermining their credibility.
At least to those paying attention and not be distracted by their clever name Safety and Transport Council, safety is the least of their concern. This is a politically motivated article, once again.
They do not have a single clue what they’re talking about
Using a picture of a US vehicle driving on Autopilot and not even on FSD further accentuates their ignorance to the matter at hand
Let's say it loud and clear: The UNECE is full of a bunch of incompetent idiots who have made travel in Europe and other countries less safe.
If you have no clue about autonomous driving systems, how NN learning works and doesn't understand FSD, get another job and don't stand in the way.
UNECE says FSD can't initiate lane changes in Europe
FSD didn't get the memo
Watched it happen in real time with @robotinreallife
This is why the regulatory debate matters and why UNECE sucks big time

Europe’s regulators aren’t protecting you from Tesla.
They’re protecting themselves from irrelevance.
The painfully slow approval of Full Self-Driving in Europe isn’t about safety. It’s about incentives.
Regulators’ entire existence depends on the public believing they are the ones who “keep everyone safe.” If they approve FSD quickly, they have to admit something uncomfortable: Tesla has already done the real work.
Billions of miles of real-world validation on Cortex. Over 10 billion miles driven in the United States. The system has been stress-tested at a scale no government lab could ever replicate. The data is overwhelming.
So what do regulators do? They invent new hoops to jump through. They demand tests that are orders of magnitude less rigorous than what Tesla has already completed. Why? Because if they don’t, they have zero visible “added value.” And zero added value means zero justification for their budgets, their jobs, and their authority.
They cannot simply say: “Tesla has already solved this better than we ever could.” That would be career suicide. It would expose that they are, at best, redundant — and at worst, actively slowing down safer roads for millions of Europeans.
So they delay. They nitpick. They posture. Not because FSD is dangerous, but because admitting it isn’t would threaten their own livelihood.
This isn’t regulation. It’s institutional self-preservation dressed up as public protection.
The longer they stall, the clearer it becomes: Europe’s biggest obstacle to safer autonomous driving isn’t the technology. It’s the people whose job it is to approve it.
Netherlands 🇳🇱 approved FSD on April 11
Lithuania 🇱🇹 approves FSD on May 20th
Greece 🇬🇷 will approve FSD in June
Meanwhile Sweden 🇸🇪 be like:

Legacy Auto Europe are scrambling with their last tactics to try and stop Tesla FSD from going world wide! It will not work, Tesla has finally won! June 30
Another criminal entity desperately trying to block Tesla FSD in Europe, just to buy legacy carmakers a little more time before they become completely irrelevant.
The level of corruption in Europe is unprecedented.
Another fake news and clickbait headlines from @Reuters around Tesla FSD approval in the EU
The Danish Road Traffic Authority has officially stated they “have at no point expressed either positive or negative opinions” about Tesla FSD Supervised.

They are one by one pieces of ….
No knowledge, only prejudice
Nothing, but nothing they do is with safety as a top priority
They have not a single clue what the concept of safety even means
Politically motivated and power hungry
Sorry to say but it’s the truth
