A bombshell report from CBS Miami revealed a Grand Jury found the DeSantis administration led a “sophisticated scheme to fund political activities” with $10 million in taxpayer money meant for children’s health care.
It’s clear from the Grand Jury report that our current Governor, Attorney General, and U.S. Senator laundered state medicaid funds through the First Lady's non-profit. Instead of those funds providing healthcare services for Florida’s most vulnerable, they were used for the Governor's political purposes.
The Grand Jury report demonstrates the scheme was highly orchestrated, intended to mislead, and deliberately covered up.
In return, everyone involved was then appointed or promoted by the Governor to positions of greater authority to further insulate anyone from accountability and hide the truth from Floridians. In fact, the Grand Jury acknowledged that the level of sophistication and lack of cooperation is what hindered their ability to recommend charges.
As Governor, I intend to reopen an investigation into the laundering of state Medicaid funds. And I challenge Byron Donalds to do the same.
If you live in Texas, check your voter registration NOW and make sure you haven’t been removed or placed on the suspense list.
Texas reported removing more than 1.1 million registrations from the voter rolls between 2021 and August 2024. Don’t assume your registration is fine just because you’ve voted before. Check it.
We are 68 days from Election Day. And no matter where you live, make sure you’re registered, make sure your information is current, and make sure you know where and when to vote.
Republicans are terrified of turnout. They know what happens when people show up and vote.
Don’t wait until Election Day to discover there’s a problem.
A single vote decided who made it into a runoff election in Osceola County with the prevailing candidate saying he hopes that “encourages people to never underestimate the power of their vote, especially in local elections.”

And just like that, the most damning Epstein files completely VANISHED from the media.
A sitting congressman, Ted Lieu, said on the record the Epstein files are being blocked because they show Trump raped and threatened to kill children.
Lets make this viral again 👇
I did not write any of this.
"Tune into Fox News (don't, actually) and you will see a steady stream of Trump sycophants alongside curious case of California Derangement Syndrome.
But here are some cold, hard FACTS Sean Hannity hasn't mentioned on his show yet.
💊 California is doing what NO state has ever done before — making our OWN prescription drug label to take on Big Pharma and drive down costs.
😮💨 California will now be the first state to provide ALL of our 10,000 public and charter schools with FREE emergency-use asthma inhalers.
👦🏼 A year of pre-school can cost families thousands. In California, we made it FREE.

🤯 If Fox News reported the truth about California, their viewers heads would explode.
➗ The truth is, Fox News and Republicans fixate on the culture wars to divide us up and distract from the truth that on health, wealth, and economic outcomes they are failing America.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER!
Gavin Newsom"
@ByronDonalds So you’re the guy who said in an interview that we should change and relax vaccine mandates in Florida but blames measle outbreaks on unvaccinated immigrants. You’re a tool.
Every single day during the presidency of Joe Biden, the Strait of Hormuz was open and free. Biden never pushed to have monuments built for himself. Biden never inserted himself into other peoples' celebratory photos. Biden never made prime time announcements 100% filled with conspiratorial claims. Biden never paid hush money to a porn star. Biden was never impeached, convicted, found liable, or disgorged. Biden never confused one of his ex-wives with a woman he raped. And Jill Biden never got up in a huff and left a private suite at a major event after Joe touched her leg.
MILLIONS of Epstein files are still being withheld.
And this comes as recent reports expose how Trump “knew and funded underage sex parties” at his golf course.
Another report discloses how Epstein victim, Sarah Ransome, claimed that Trump had sex with a girl in Epstein's trafficking ring.
Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan of the New York Times revealed through their reporting that conversations around handling the Epstein scandal have taken place in the situation room.
In case you're not aware, "the situation room" is the White House's most secure conference facility.
It's located in the basement of the West Wing, it's designed for the most sensitive national security conversations.
It's also typically reserved for genuine crises: terrorism threats, military operations, foreign policy emergencies. Think the bin Laden raid, nuclear negotiations, disaster response, etc...
A room built for discussing America's gravest national security threats was used to do damage control for Trump and to brainstorm ways to cover up Trump's connection to Epstein and his sex trafficking operation.
It also indicates that they did not want the conversations they were having recorded.
And it frames the whole "situation" as a political cover operation.
Democrats need to continue drawing attention to the fact that The Trump administration is leading a massive cover up of Trump's criminal ties to the world's most notorious child sex trafficker and all of the rich and powerful Epstein associates who are also connected to Trump or have information that could incriminate him—people who are embroiled in Epstein's/Maxwell's heinous crimes against children themselves.
Why have these people faced no accountability?
Why did the Trump administration offer clemency to Ghislaine Maxwell in exchange for her silence and cooperation?
Trump supporters remain in denial about his deep connections to Epstein and his desperate efforts to sweep it all under the rug.
The release of Epstein related documents only came after the house and Senate forced Trump's hand following months of Republicans trying to block their disclosure.
And when it finally came time to release these documents, Trump's DOJ put out heavily redacted, obfuscated, and largely incomplete information. Millions of files still remain withheld.
Prior to this, Trump's administration, alongside the DOJ and Republicans in Congress were all running interference for him; delaying votes, using the shutdown to obstruct the release of materials, suppressing information and diverting attention away from his close link to Epstein.
This included efforts from Todd Blanche, who is now acting AG (and was also Trump's personal lawyer) to orchestrate a cover up with Ghislaine Maxwell by offering her limited immunity/clemency and a transfer to a minimum security, cushy prison to facilitate her cooperation with the government.
Trump and Epstein had a very close, friendly and social relationship starting in the late 80s. They were both prominent figures in Palm Beach, Florida where they were often seen together at social events and parties. Photos and videos show the two together at Mar-a-Lago, laughing and ogling at young women.
In an interview in 2002, Trump said of Epstein:
> “I’ve known Jeff for 15 years. Terrific guy. He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side.”
It wasn't until Epstein's arrest and death in 2019 that Trump publicly stated that he wasn't "a fan" of Epstein.
Virginia Guiffre, one of Epstein's most vocal accusers, claimed that she was recruited into Epstein's sex trafficking ring while working at Mar-a-Lago. Giuffre sadly "died by suicide" in April of last year...

@NationalSecJour A win? Bahahahahahaha.
We started a war that has killed at least 18 American service members and wounded more than 750. Iran damaged U.S. military infrastructure across at least 15 bases. We have lost dozens of aircraft and drones, including at least 45 MQ-9 Reapers, and burned through critical missile and interceptor stockpiles that will take years to replace.
The Pentagon has already put the cost at $37.5 billion and asked Congress for another $67 billion, while other estimates put the eventual bill at $100 billion or more. Meanwhile, Americans are paying dramatically more for gasoline, farmers have been hammered by higher diesel and fertilizer costs, and fertilizer disruptions have affected planting decisions around the world.
And your headline is that the convicted felon @POTUS “wins” because some oil is getting through Hormuz?
The Strait is nowhere close to open normally. Independent Kpler data shows traffic running roughly 90% below prewar levels. Your own article admits the administration’s numbers are disputed and that the recovery is “far from a return to normal.”
And the claim that Iran “doesn’t seem to be able to stop it” is particularly ridiculous. Iran is continuing to threaten ships, has blacklisted dozens of tankers, has already demonstrated that it can severely disrupt the Strait, and retains the military capability to do considerably more.
If this is your definition of winning, I’d hate to see what you call losing.
WE DON’T WANT TO BE YOUR STATE, ASSHOLE! Canada wants the benefits of NOT being American. You can fucking keep your mass shootings, explosive diarrhea, measles & E. Coli.
You can’t take control over us. We’re not some 13-year-old girl on Epstein Island.
Sit the fuck down.
Hey folks. Not sure where Byron Donalds is coming from in this ad, but I'm sure his DC team will try to make this stick. Afterall, he was in Congress to support and pass Donald Trump's tax package. I was long out of Congress.
You see, screaming 'socialism' didn't work for Byron, screaming 'radical' didn't work for him, vicious trans ads didn't work, so now he'll be angry about taxes this week. Next week it will be guns, then immigration, then vicious personal attacks on me down the home stretch. It's what we've come to expect from Byron.
Because it's all Byron knows - divide people, be angry and you might make others angry too. And it's what DC and the Tallahassee swamp are funding him to do in this race.
So let's lay it out there. I don't support taxing social security. And I think its fair to tax wages however they're earned, but would support relief for tips above the standard wage rate.
If I had been in Congress, I probably wouldn't have supported the Donalds-Trump tax bill because of the amount of grift, graft and raw corruption in it for the White House, for Byron's donors, and for his own self-enrichment.
You see part of this campaign is about returning to something better. First, honesty - addressing garbage like this. And second, pushing back against the raw corruption of politicians who will sell you out for a buck. That's why Byron supported the tax bill. Because his donors and the president told him to, and his family stood to benefit.
He's for them. I'm for you.
@SenatorTimScott Senator Scott, you’re either a moron when it comes to inflation or you’re counting on people not knowing how it works. I think you are just a moron.
Inflation was never 21% under President Biden. The annual inflation rate peaked at 9.1% in June 2022 and was down to 3.0% when Biden left office. The roughly 21% number is the cumulative increase in the price level over four years. You cannot compare four years of accumulated price increases to today’s one-year inflation rate and claim the convicted felon “brought inflation down from 21%.” That is economic nonsense. In fact, inflation is 3.4% today, higher than the 3.0% rate he inherited.
You couldn’t even get the history right. The Inflation Reduction Act wasn’t passed in 2021. President Biden signed it in August 2022. And inflation wasn’t 9% in July 2021. The 9.1% peak came in June 2022.
And this claim that wages are rising while costs are “flattening” is BS too. Prices are up 3.4% over the last year, food is up 3.0%, and energy is up 14.7%. Nominal hourly wages rose 3.2%, meaning real hourly earnings actually fell 0.2% over the last year. That isn’t workers getting ahead.
Susan Collins is also right about tariffs. American importers pay them, and businesses frequently pass at least part of those costs on to customers. Federal Reserve research has found that the current tariffs have added to inflation, and businesses continue reporting that tariff costs are being passed through in higher prices.
And stop pretending Democrats held separate votes to raise taxes on waitresses, overtime workers, and seniors. They voted against one enormous reconciliation bill containing those provisions along with massive Medicaid and SNAP cuts and trillions in other tax and spending changes. Even the tax provisions aren’t what you advertise: “no tax on overtime” only deducts the overtime premium, “no tax on tips” is capped and income-limited, and seniors received an additional $6,000 deduction, not the elimination of taxes on Social Security.
So no, Senator, you didn’t explain inflation. You took a cumulative four-year price increase, falsely called it an inflation rate, compared it to a one-year inflation rate, ignored that inflation is now higher than when President Biden left office, and then changed the subject when you were asked why the convicted felon’s tariffs are raising Americans’ costs.
That’s not economics. That’s lies with numbers.
It’s strange for me to even say this, because I served 20 years in the military, and respecting the President of the United States, Republican or Democrat, whether I agreed with them or not, is almost in my DNA. I have always believed in the office, in the Constitution, and in the guardrails Congress is supposed to provide.
I can honestly say that, with maybe a few exceptions when I was a much younger man, I haven’t hated many people in my life. If someone is toxic, I usually just walk away. People call me names on here every day, and it doesn’t bother me. I don’t care what people I don’t respect think of me or say to me. I try to stick to the facts. Their opinions carry no weight.
So when I say I hate the convicted felon with every fiber of my being, that actually makes me sad. Not because I think my hate is unjustified, but because I hate that I have allowed any one person to bring me to that place.
I don’t hate him because he is a Republican, he isn't. I have voted for Republicans. I don’t hate him because he disagrees with me. Plenty of people do. I hate what he has done to the office, to our institutions, to the truth, to the military, to the country, and to the way Americans treat one another.
And maybe the part that bothers me most is realizing that a man I’ve only met twice has managed to pull an emotion out of me that I spent most of my life refusing to give to anyone.
I don’t like that. I don’t like that I’ve allowed him to occupy that kind of space in my head, and I don’t like what that says about where we are as a country.
I can disagree with people. I can be angry. I can fight like hell over policy, principle, and the Constitution. But hate is different. And it genuinely saddens me that I’ve reached a point in my life where that is the word that feels most accurate.
Now you know why I waste my time with long form rebuttals, I can't help myself.
Hunter Biden brilliantly TKO’s Donald Trump again 🇺🇸
“My dad at 81 years old secretly got on a military aircraft, went to Ukraine, took a train for 16 hours to Kyiv as the first President of the United States to go into an active war zone.
Donald Trump fits his fat ass into a food cart truck and brings his work wife with him instead of the guy that carries the nuclear codes."
