Uniswap과 구글, 그리고 @hoenn_fi 에서 진행하는 DeFi Pulse Check 에 미리 들렸습니다. 사실상 유니스왑의 Gen님을 먼저 만나뵙고 조용하게 이야기를 나누기 위해서 미리 다녀왔습니다.

현장에서는 오늘 발표를 할 Hoenn의 대표님도 만나뵈었는데, 친절하게도 제품에 대한 소개를 먼저 해주셨습니다. 몇일 후 아이젠이 슬래싱을 도입하면 상당히 중요한 프로토콜이 될 것으로 보여서 미리 소개드립니다.

1⃣ 전제1: LRT의 진정한 파워는 슬래싱의 도입과 함께 시작하며 이후에 수많은 Asset과 전략으로 나뉘면서 파편화가 될 것이다. 그리고 수많은 전략으로 유동성 역시 더욱더 파편화될것이다.(Eigenlayer곧 슬래싱 메인넷에 도입)
2⃣ 전제2 : LRT는 TVL뿐만 아니라 유동성 깊이도 중요함. 그리고 대부분의 LRT토큰들의 유동성 깊이는 1%미만이거나 높아도 5% 미만임. 즉, 유동성 깊이가 깊지 않음.
3⃣ 해결 : Hoenn 은 LRT를 비롯해서 파편화된 유동성의 Unify를 통해 유동성 깊이의 문제를 해결함. 방법은 예를 들어 다양한 LRT 토큰을 하나 묶어서 담보를 바탕으로 유동화된 합성 토큰을 통해 유동성 깊이를 해결하는 방법입니다.
4⃣ Hoenn은 다야항 코인들의 LRT중 ETH나 BTC와 같은 자산들의 유동성 파편화를 합성하면서 unify를 하는 것입니다. 예를 들어서 @Mantle_Official 의 $mETH, $cmETH 와 Lido의 $stETH 로켓의 $rETH 등을 모두 하나의 유동성으로 묶어서 유동성 깊이를 만들어주는 형태입니다.
5⃣ 이후에는 LRT뿐만 아니라 펜들의 PT나 토큰화된 RWA나 볼트 토큰의 유동성도 받아서 합성하고 깊이를 만드는 확장성을 계획중입니다.

🔰개인적인 생각
처음 이 프로젝트에 접근을 하면 LRT등에 대한 이해가 없을 경우에는 필요성이나 문제에 대한 인식이 어려울 수 있으나, 쉽게 생각하면 LRT와 같은 리스테이킹이나, 거버넌스나 PT와 같은 토큰들에대한 유동성이 생각보다 깊이가 아예 없거나 매우 얕은 것에 대한 문제를 합쳐서 다시 Unify해서 해결하겠다는 생각보다 간단하면서도 효율적일 수도 있는 방법이 될 수 있을 것 같습니다. 우선은 EVM쪽과 특히 이더쪽에서 시작을 할 것으로 보이는데, 이후에 포인트 제공이나 토큰 출시등도 가능할 것으로 보여서, 이 기회에 프로젝트의 X 계정 팔로우하고 소식 받아보는것도 괜찮을 것 같습니다. Hoenn계정 보니 이미 업계 분들중 소식 빠른 분들은 팔로우업 하고 계시던군요. ㅎ

I've noticed the term 'restaking' can be somewhat misleading—many people I talk to assume it's just about rehypothecating or 're'staking LSTs (e.g., stETH) to boost yield, thinking it's no longer the hot narrative.

In reality, restaking is a fundamental evolution of blockchain security, enabling the same stake to secure multiple networks in a highly modular and capital-efficient way.

Perhaps we could use a better term to capture this essence? 'shared staking' or 'multi-staking'? or something else 🤔
