@AJA_Cortes Years ago, I torched my back with high volume rowing with no lifting. After PT, added lifting and deadlifting literally saved my back. No issues now
@Cernovich Do it as a kid when your skull is squishy. I did it as an adult (SARPE) and they had to cut my skull up. Big improvement but crappy recovery from surgery.
This ICE situation is really complex. My take is more nuanced. I want our immigration laws to be enforced but I just want them to do it without using any force, and without anyone ever getting hurt, and without anything sad or upsetting happening ever, and if the people we’re trying to deport don’t want to be deported, or if liberal activists don’t want us to deport them, then obviously in that case we shouldn’t do it, but I’m totally a conservative on the issue, unless people get really mad at me then never mind please don’t yell I’m sorry.
What I see happening with this "ICE is Trump's Gestapo" narrative, from the perspective of the dialectical political warfare that it is:
The conflict with ICE, which is being initiated and deliberately instigated by the Left, is causing a lot of the population to harden behind "masked agents of the federal government."
This is a deliberate strategy they're running in concert with a sophisticated narrative operation.
Most of what the Left does with its narratives is makes them come true even though they aren't true at first. They're constructing "reality" around real events.
In this case, they get their people to act like ICE is the Gestapo, and that gives them have both a narrative that can come true later and a narrative that motivates the base to action that makes it come true. This is dialectical reasoning and dialectical political warfare.
Based on their narrative, Leftists (many of whom are actors and paid agitators making this happen) go fight ICE because it's allegedly the Gestapo, and fighting ICE makes ICE go harder and lots of people to back ICE going harder.
ICE has to go harder and harder to do its job, and people who are still sane increasingly back ICE going harder and harder (me among them) until it crosses certain boundaries.
The Left plays off every escalation to make "ICE is the new Gestapo" seem more and more true, driving the next turn of this spiral, which is drilling down toward a point where in enough respects it's true enough even if it's not literally true, and we have both of lots of people supporting ICE as if it is a new Gestapo and lots of other people resisting ICE as if it's a new Gestapo.
The Trump administration and DHS are caught in the pinch of this situation and are ultimately negated by having to fall to one side or the other of ty dialectically constructed dilemma.
Leftist officials in Minnesota know this. Most of the Trump Administration doesn't know this, and some of the ones who do are fueling it, not working to outsmart it (subversives acting from within).
It's an incredibly dangerous situation that requires incredible care and savvy to negotiate well.
What needs to happen is that ICE and DHS need to act with the utmost of professionalism and clarity, placing their focus on maximally objectionable criminals and engaging in clear, professional communications with the public (not memes and shitposts from the official DHS accounts).
It needs to name and explain this dynamic clearly and explain how the officials in Minnesota and their street thugs on the ground, in conjunction with a coordinated network of NGOs, are forcing this illusion and issue and rededicate itself to mission, fairness, and clarity, pressing to hold Minnesota and other officials to account for the escalation they're driving.
The purposes for such a firm commitment to mission have to be explained to the public clearly and reflected through the actions of agents in the field.
Otherwise, it will spiral out of control, the way dialectics are meant to, and the ultimate cost will be the public delegitimization of Trump's immigration agenda and his federal law enforcement authority.
2026 is almost unimaginable to those of us who had "time in the wilderness." It's a completely better world. Yet we never win. There's no tidy ending. The prize for winning is we get to fight again. Which is better than being slaughtered. That's for sure.
This argument is just entirely fake, for two reasons.
1) In the Obama administration, they counted being turned away at the border as a deportation. A person would show up, be sent back, and counted as a deportation. We have to do deportations from the interior of the country because Biden and Harris let them walk in.
2) In the cities that are not sanctuary cities, the deportation process is orderly and normal--like most law enforcement. In Minneapolis and a few other sanctuary jurisdictions, local jurisdictions and a few leftwing agitators have decided to wage war on all immigration enforcement officers.
They are hoping that a little chaos will convince us to give up on immigration enforcement. They are wrong.
You will never convince many on the left that the ICE agent in Minneapolis didn't just murder a young mother in her car.
Remember Michael Brown? I knew a nice liberal woman who kept posting about his "murder." When the DOJ report came out - from Obama/Holder - demonstrating that Brown attacked the cop, tried to take his gun, and was killed in the scuffle - I showed it to this woman, explained to her what happened. The next year on the anniversary of Brown's death, she was again posting about his "murder" and putting up supposed quotes from him like he was some kind of great person.
With some people they are just lying to keep up their narrative. For others it's just psychologically difficult to walk back a position they've made publicly over and over. Others are just dumb. But don't expect any amount of video footage or testimony to convince many people about this latest episode.
A DEEP DIVE -- Thoughts From a Competent Lawyer on the Minneapolis ICE Shooting:
1. The left is positively turgid about this INCIDENT. They wanted a shooting and did everything they could to set the conditions that made it inevitable, from the rhetoric of the Democrat politicians to the provocations on the street. One leftist white lady dead is a small price to pay for the martyr they wanted.
2. Note that yesterday (1/6/26), the Democrats changed from “The feds are the Gestapo” to “A zillion federal officers died defending Our Democracy, and we support these heroes- here’s a plaque!” back to “The feds are the Gestapo” the very next day.
3. The law is clear – you can use deadly force against someone threatening you with deadly force. The ICE agent had no duty to retreat. This does not matter to the left and its narrative. You will see many experts with zero actual knowledge of the law opining – including the typically terrible cadre of leftist lawyers.
4. The video is clear that the driver was heading at and came in contact with the ICE agent. He had a right to use deadly force to defend himself. This does not matter to the left and its narrative. The left will do everything it can to keep people from looking at the actual video that shows the incident. It will push video that does not show the incident clearly, as well a perjured or irrelevant witness statements.
5. The leftist narrative will be “Trump’s ICE nazis are literally murdering innocent people.” This will work on Democrats and Republican sissies. Normal people will ask why she did not comply with the officers’ orders and why she drove at a cop. Properly addressed, we can leverage the gross irresponsibility of the Dem pols and communist foot soldiers to defeat their bogus narrative.
6. The corrupt state of Minnesota will “investigate” even though its senior officials have already announced that this was murder, and the ICE agent will be indicted in state court. The feds will remove it to federal court, where the case will fail.
7. There will be a civil suit against the US government and the shooter. It will be heard in federal court. Qualified immunity will apply.
8. The shooter will be doxed and his family threatened by leftists, who will cheer this on.
9. There will be rioting in Minneapolis, probably low-grade, since too much will make the left lose sympathy. If it gets serious, look to Trump to send in the armed forces, perhaps under the Insurrection Act.
10. The anti-ICE direct actions will accelerate. Trump will not back down. There will be a decision point facing to the left: Continue the current level of actions, which will have zero effect, or escalate into (further) attempts to murder ICE agents. Some leftists will embrace escalated violence.
The Administration should focus rigorously on the following key points:
1. ICE was present in Minneapolis doing its job removing dangerous criminals.
2. Democrat politicians are creating a dangerous situation with their rhetoric and caused this incident.
3. Democrat activists have been putting people at risk with their dangerous action and it must stop.
4. The communist woman was ordered to stop but attempted to kill a federal agent, who lawfully defended himself with deadly force. WATCH THE VIDEO.
5. WE WILL NTO BACK DOWN FROM MAKING AMERICA SAFE FORM ILLEGAL ALIEN CRIMINALS, INCLUDING FRAUDSTERS.
My tolerance for left-wing lawlessness ended in 2020 during their BLM riots and now I'm just so done with it I can't possibly express how done with it I am. The country can't survive the left's support for lawlessness. It is destroying us.
Democrats wanted someone to get shot. They did everything they could to get one of their own killed so they could do another election year martyrs brigade riot season.
Let’s hope Trump learned the real lesson of 2020 that these communists have to be crushed, not coddled.
