I made a USB-Clawd who gets my attention when Claude Code finishes a response

while my whole tl posts about claude I feel compelled to share something

it’s been 10 years since i last painted,
and 9 since a debut exibit on an antique store bar

they where tiny paintings, on a cabinet
a small secret at last shared, to be then locked away

crosses my mind the curiosity of why the process of experimenting with colors, textures, feelings and time have faded

why no longer urges in me that drive of “i created this beautiful thing, that’s all that matters”

it might have been around the same time i lost the art, that my eyes lost the precision

the techinicolor world i once saw with a 20/20 has been since scrambled

an astigmatism developed in them at the same time my perception of the world changed

i was still an student, i was working, i had shifted both in mind and body and pain was still there

pain of not being/feeling seen perhaps, the mask i whore was now becoming the world’s to wear as beheld by my eyes

and that i thought after a restless night and a full day of vibe coding

when i saw the light appearing behind blurred branches on the distance

they where once so clearly i could spend hours looking

which reminds me to buy new prescription glasses

will then my curiosity for art come back?

Claude Code just introduced one of the most thoughtful agent features yet

it is called auto dream

it tackles a problem most people do not notice at first:

as agents learn from you over time, they store preferences, corrections, and patterns

that memory becomes powerful

but after many sessions it can also become messy:
> too much low-signal information
> outdated assumptions
> overlapping or conflicting notes
> harder for the agent to stay sharp

auto dream solves this in a very elegant way

instead of letting memory grow endlessly, the agent periodically improves it

it:
> reviews past interactions across many sessions
> keeps what still matters
> removes what no longer helps
> merges insights into cleaner, structured memory
> standardizes details so context stays precise over time

all of this happens quietly in the background

with safeguards built in:
> runs only after enough activity has accumulated
> does not interfere with your active workflow
> separates access between your code and its own memory layer
> ensures only one cleanup process runs at a time

what is especially interesting is the direction this points to

ai systems are starting to manage themselves more intelligently:
> learning continuously from interaction
> maintaining their own internal state
> improving quality without manual resets

this is what makes modern agents feel more consistent and reliable over time

the real leap is not just more context

it is better use of context
