Guess it’s time to change my pinned tweet after four years to his first high school homer, which came at Doubleday Field this season.

[Josh Rawitch @HOFprez]

I rarely shoot video of him hitting or pitching. But something told me to break out the camera and film his first AB. I accidentally did it in slow mo (while switching back and forth from doing GameChanger) and sure enough, he hits his first real home run. (5/7)

Help us wish @DaveWinfieldHOF a happy 75th birthday!

Winfield, who never spent a day in the minor leagues, was drafted by four teams in three pro sports – the @Padres, NFL’s Minnesota Vikings, NBA’s Atlanta Hawks and ABA’s Utah Stars – but we’re glad he chose baseball.

Walking to work and thinking that the next few weekends are a perfect time to come to Cooperstown.

@JLeinber88 Yes, on research/library. Please reach out to the Giamatti Research Center and they can explain how that process works. But we aren’t able to just pull out 3D artifacts for visitors. Good news is, thousands are already on exhibit.

Congrats to the Padres. The energy at the ballpark looked amazing last night. #FightForTheFaithful

[San Diego Padres @Padres]

It gets better, ordered another round. It’s about to go down.

[Josh Rawitch @HOFprez]

Congrats to the #WhiteSox. Back in Spring Training, Tony La Russa was singing Will Venable’s praises and telling me this team would be better than people thought. Happy for them and so many others in that org.

Rest in peace, Dennis Haskins. Last person we expected to meet on Broadway at the Winter Meetings in 2015 but couldn’t have been nicer. 🙏🏼

Two more comments from visitors this week:

"I waited 80 years for this visit and it was worth every minute I got to spend here!"

"The Baseball HOF and Cooperstown are my Disney World. Keep doing what you're doing, because it's a great tribute to the greatest game ever."
