@LopezHasbeth Twice as much space and time for pedestrians would be a good start.
Car traffic evaporates when car space is reduced. Lots of examples show that.
Retail business deteriorates when walking/PT people can't or don't want to get there anymore.
Safe & pleasant walking saves business.
