Learn to appreciate the small things before life teaches you their value through absence.
The warmth of sunlight on your skin. The people who check on you. The quiet moments of peace. The dreams still alive in your heart.
Not every blessing comes loudly.
Some of the most beautiful parts of life hide in ordinary moments we often overlook.
Victor Wembanyama’s agent said Wemby turned down multi-million dollar marketing deals from beverage companies before making the NBA:
"We’re not gonna mix his image with sodas... Victor will never sell soda. Because he doesn’t want to kill the kids."

In 1998, I was fired from my corporate job while 9 months pregnant because and I quote, “my priorities would be elsewhere after the baby is born.”
The lawyer I hired told me I didn’t have a case because discrimination like “that” was almost impossible to prove.
So I got pissed.
Took the LSAT. Went to law school. Passed the bar. Had 3 more kids.
Twelve years later, another woman from that same company was fired for the same reason. She sued them for a million dollars, and won, partly because I had kept every piece of evidence from what happened to me years prior demonstrating a systemic pattern of discrimination against women.
That company no longer exists. My law practice is thriving. And that baby they said would derail my priorities? She’s a brilliant attorney now working at my firm.
Turns out my priorities were indeed, elsewhere.
NEW: Youth sports is now costing parents as much as $25,000 a year.
Private equity and corporations are turning a childhood pastime into something only the wealthy can afford.
Youth sports has become a $40 billion industry, and the steep costs are crushing American families.
Fifty has a point... 50 Cent says, "My son Marquise is 27 and still asking for child support.
I give him $10,800 monthly, but he says it's not enough." "Success cost me my relationship with Marquise.
At 27, he should be ashamed to ask for child support. He thinks being 50 Cent's son means he doesn't have to work.
I offered to set up a business for him to earn $1 million a month, but he refused. He has an entitlement mentality, thinking my money is his.
It hurts to see him so irresponsible. I keep saying this publicly, hoping he'll be ashamed and start working. No matter how rich you are, never let your kids feel your money belongs to them."
