I got a chance to check out #MDEV in Madison, WI and came away with a new found appreciation for the Midwest gaming space. It was awesome to see the talent on display from indie devs and fan favorites @RavenSoftware & @Respawn.
Being new to the Midwest, I was unaware of how big the gaming space was here. The east and west coast always get their flowers and I had been under the impression that most of what we love is created there or overseas.
I’m looking forward to seeing the @WIgamesalliance grow and gaming to continue to flourish in Wisconsin. Thank you @DestinationMSN for having me!
@_benui Do they not? I even went to a publicly traded university and I had a mandatory technology ethics course, and a mandatory class on philosophy focusing on tolerance, back in 2010s.
If you want to use Dear ImGui from a language other than C++: consider using "Dear Bindings" by @CarterBen. It outputs metadata to automatize binding creation while preserving nice header files. e.g. its cimgui.h output has full comments like C++ version.

I made a promise to throw a virtual party when RPAI hit 50 stars and that has happened. Stay tuned for dates and an official agenda. And if you have anything you would like to see related to RPAI at this event please let me know. #UnrealEngine#UnrealEngine5#gamedev#indiegame
While everyone is scrambling to make Generative AI models work specific to their domain, I am just sitting down and building out HTN for system automation. But more on that later.
@_benui Not a community but I did build and deploy a infra pipeline in AWS. Adds an S3 backed git lfs server integrated with github, uses CodeBuild and Code Pipeline to build Unreal Engine projects, and deploys to storefronts https://t.co/I11BqtpHT1
@QuodSoler Not just save system - any data storage system. Versioning your serialized output will save many, many, many headaches and compatibility issues in the future.
