It seems like it would be a distant or past problem, but it really isn't. It is happening to people TODAY and right here in North America too.

One of the most shocking things I have learned all year in BIOL 420 how rampant slavery is in many fishing industries.

Please find out where your seafood comes from, people may have suffered or died for it.

First shocking fact for today's Ocean Conservation class: the term "Illegal Wildlife Trafficking" does not usually refer to marine organism. This is because marine organisms are often not considered wildlife.
