@Storch_i Richtig.
@annettedittert genuine question: why are you cheering for a man who relates all his policy ideas to buses? So far he has not been able to even formulate his policy ideas about any of the pressing issues. How do his qualifications align with running a country?

@yarotrof they are most likely paid to do it. definitely not the consensus; large parts of the electorate are historically and politically illiterate. Ru desinfo campaigns wreak havoc+manipulate these useful idiots-sadly there are no counter measures in place, society is being captured
The German consensus is still thinking of World War II as “our war against Russia.” One in five people in Ukraine and one in four people in Belarus were killed in 1941-1945. The historical debt of Nazi Germany is far greater to the peoples of Belarus and Ukraine.
But somehow a strong current in German political thought holds that Germany must atone by accommodating Russia.
Putins Einflussnahme: Wie Moskau uns spalten will

Here's what I would recommend, if anyone asked me: @LauraLoomer should come to Ukraine herself.
No press tours, no escorts from Ukrainian officials or politicians, no guides. Frankly, she wouldn't even need a translator.
She should come as a private citizen, anonymously, and simply see Ukraine for herself. Anything, anywhere -- any large city, small town, or village. Visit Lviv. Spend a sleepless night on the floor of a Kyiv metro station during Russian missile attacks. See how Kharkiv lives under the constant threat of Russian glide bombs. Get as close to the frontline as safety permits. In general, spend some time living in Ukraine and breathing this air.
After that, I guarantee it: all those hordes of Kremlin-paid grifters with microphones will no longer look like mere liars and manipulators. They will look like what they truly are -- collaborators serving an aggressor state in the largest war of today's world, and a direct threat to U.S. national security.
@BonkGearMetal@FT Expect for all sorts of types that promote diplomatic and “reasonable” approach towards ru to come out of the woodwork again.
The tragedy is, European leaders will very likely make a fatal mistake in going down this road, since it seems the easiest.
And for those suffering from very selective amnesia, let me remind you once again that Russia has been carrying out regular and systematic mass missile and drone strikes against Ukraine — including power plants and heating infrastructure, hospitals, schools, apartment buildings, supermarkets, as well as historical landmarks and national heritage sites — since 4 a.m. on February 24, the very first day of its full-scale invasion.
At that point Ukraine could not even dream of striking any targets inside Russia, let alone Moscow, and remained practically powerless to do so for many months, if not years, of the war.
So you can go to hell with your “now Russia will strike back.”
A German TV reporter went to Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan to find out how German tech, despite sanctions, ends up in russian Shahed drones and missiles that kill and maim civilians.
We knew, but the fact that it's so easy (and German companies say they aren't aware) is shocking. ⬇️
