A little about me. A question was asked in a group about what was a good reason to homeschool. This was my response. Maybe it will help someone else with the same question.
Relationship. Time together. Itโs invaluable. That wasnโt why I started, but why Iโm thankful I did. Mine were 1st and 3rd when we started. They looked forward to my mother in law, Nana, coming home from work every day and she would pick them up on the golf cart to go to her house. Our second year she had retired, so going to her house was their motivation to get done early. Our third year was 2020. She got Covid in November and never came home from the hospital. My boys got so much extra time with her during those years that they would have never gotten had they been in public school. Time is precious and something we should never take for granted. No matter how hard homeschooling can be at times, itโs been worth every minute.
@FreddyLA7 Then you could stay at the Threefoot Hotel and visit the rooftop bar. It was built by the Threefoot family, a German Jewish family, who migrated to the area in the late 1800โs.
@benshapiro Hey @BenShapiroShow@benshapiro I tried to find the pianist โMark David Hamlinโ but I think the correct name is Marc-Andre Hamelin. Just to give credit where credit is most certainly due! Heโs amazing! Thanks for sharing.
@lukerosiak Iโve worked in home health for 18 years. Iโve been there when we fought tooth and nail to prove why a patient still needed a nurse or was rehospitalized soon after we were forced to discharge. This kind of stuff is infuriating.
I work in home health and Iโve had patients that had VA aids that helped them tremendously. But this kind of fraud is CASE IN POINT why more government is never the answer.
94 Medicaid "home health" companies purport to occupy this office building, taking more than $66 million of your money. They provide free butlers to immigrants.
"No windows on the outside hides the fact that there's no one on the inside." There's an entire street of these.
dear apple, the iPod needs to come back. not for nostalgia. for the parents who want their kids to love music and audiobooks without a browser, social media, and the whole internet attached to it
We are in a season of discernment.
Since Charlieโs death, the noise has exploded. New personalities. New platforms. New โgospelsโ.
Everyone wants your attention. Very few deserve your trust.

@megynkelly@MegynKellyShow Still devastated at your turn into something unrecognizable to me. I excitedly watched every day. I had plans to inquire about exploring certain issues, specifically those affecting teens since our kids are the same age. Crazy to feel such a loss over a person I donโt know.
