3. Finally, the lawyer can take up any tenant who refuses to vacate .

Imagine paying 7m for Govt permits, approvals and another 5m to omo onile for foundation ,slab and roofing stages. That's an extra 12m added to the cost of construction yet we want house rents in Lag to be affordable ?
@itzchristunique Tenants need to ask the right questions about issues like this before parting with their money. Even prepaid meters often have debt on them. The best option here is to choose the lesser evil; paying the power bill is better than seeking a refund of rent which won't come .
@egi_nupe You are right and in fact the tenancy law is tilted in favour of the tenant .Nevertheless,it's not easy to get suitable accommodation especially one that is near your work place, church,family and your children's school. This is why many tenants settle for what is dished to them.
