Excited to have had my abstract accepted for the International DLD Research Conference in Sept!
A great opportunity to present my research into the barriers and facilitators of DLD diagnosis with a focus on ‘Adults missing the DLD boat’.

Nothing special ... just a sunny summer morning in the #peakdistrict, with intersecting swoops of fields, ancient field boundaries lined with old stone walls, and trees lit gold in the early sun.
Students w #DevLangDis/#ADHD warmed to #teachers who used simple words;who'd “go through” things several times in diff'nt ways;didn't go too fast; paused to allow processing; checked understanding. https://t.co/bewEBsoTSE Hayley Tancredi @Callula_K@drlindagraham@ConversationEDU

Top tips to get commissioners interested:
- find out who the Homelessness Lead is in your NHS Trust or Local Authority
- share the factsheet
- tell them other areas already have this role!!
Focus on raising awareness first!

A young person has moved out of segregation today after several years living this way. The team have worked so hard and there is so much learning, but it never needed to be this way. The system (the whole system) needs to work urgently to change this inevitable pathway #hopes
