We are opposed to domestic league matches being played abroad.
Two requests have been approved on an exceptional basis due to regulatory gaps at global level.
We are committed to anchoring the integrity of domestic competitions and fans’ perspectives in forthcoming FIFA rules.
The thing about this app is that they don't actually watch football and so when they do finally catch a game they have to make sweeping declarations to pretend they've been watching
I remember when Baena was signed, I felt there was a natural mismatch in the speed of automatisms Simeone had normalized upto then, and his own preference for a team's tempo
Rodri x Flick is like the same issue in a way.
Simeone solved this (next szn) by loosening automatisms
Fede from Right Back has INFINITELY better, and more dangerous instincts when he receives the ball.
He *sees* more options because he can view the entire pitch
Because of this his passing range which has always been great, gets unlocked
+ at times moves in to become a 3rd MF
There is no shame in saying all this. In fact. We see him as an insane asset off the right, the likes of which we don't have. The massive drop in ball-actions was obvious the second Dumfries came on.
Like Jose said, he's Madrid's captain and he will don the gloves, if needed
It is no surprise that the best of Fede is when he is on the right. That Carlo season where he scored double digits is still my favorite season of his. He just unlocks both his passing and carrying qualities to the absolute maximum.
@fivga And yes all this is assuming you want to offside trap the opponent, and not defend by dropping back gradually - which is what they ended up doing
The finest of margins decide the play which is probably that Camavinga is the freshest legs on the pitch
The funny thing is, from about when Jude turns his back
To when Arda takes those extra touches before a relatively predictable pass
Both were great times for someone to organize the line at two separate moments, and actually trap us offside like they're supposed to on paper
@fivga You have to prepare it as I said, by jumping once when Bellingham hangs on the ball for a few touches (good as those touches were, he's turned back to the play and thats the first trigger)
THEN the 2nd jump becomes effective cuz Arda makes a predictable pass (even w/deep run)
@devil13_red True. But this has always been the case with Barca's late goals in these kind of games. They have to commit to x or y and this sort of 3rd space is where they become easy to play against if you keep your head vs the first line of press
