I generally avoid having pictures of me on the internet, but in case any of you that I don't see very often are wondering what I look like these days (or how bad my phone camera is), FEAST YOUR EYES!
@InAnihilator@NintendoAmerica It was bad on switch 1 because of performance issues. It was good on switch 2 because the hardware could handle it. Good if you like warriors games, I mean.
My neighbor's garage just exploded a little, and there are fire fighters and cops everywhere. I'm trying to decide if it's in poor taste to see if there is any damage to my property, or if it would be better to wait.
I think Ernest Shackleton is the closest thing I have to a non-fictional personal hero. The story of someone who led men into folly only to move heaven and earth in order to save them from his own hubris is both inspiring and humbling.
I read a few books about him years ago, and held him in high regard ever since. Endurance by Lansing was probably the best, if you have some time to kill.
On this election day, as I ponder the uncomfortably high likelihood of a second Trump term, I marvel at how many massive missteps the Dems had to take to let the race get this close. Like, six or seven? It was like watching Sideshow Bob step on rakes for 3 months.
@MichaelStahlke Oh, I remember that... during the Obama years, they had that big... well, F*** fest. Honestly, I think about the Secret Service, maybe once every 5 years. So, I'll just nod politely and thank you for your time.
Fun fact: If you live in a swing state, and the algorithm has you tagged as independent, they really really really want you to know an election is going on.
