A few weeks ago I was at a restaurant that had two single use bathrooms. One for men, one for women. There was one person in front of me that was a man dressed as a woman and he went into the women’s room. I decided to just go ahead and use the men’s room. It didn’t seem like a big deal, even though the whole scenario is quite absurd when you think about it. I didn’t really find it a huge deal since the bathrooms were single use. Today I was at Target with my daughter and a man dressed in a flowery dress and wig came into the bathroom. My 4 year old said, mom why is that man wearing a dress? It was very awkward and I just grabbed her and walked out. Neither encounter did I feel like I was in any danger, but both are so uncomfortable and just unnecessary and I don’t want to have to feel awkward doing normal things. Everything is just so upside down and stupid and I don’t want to pretend it isn’t.

People keep asking me "What is a normal gay?" as kind of a gotcha so here goes...
-A gay man that's actually gay.
-A lesbian that's actually a lesbian.
-A gay person who believes that giving puberty blockers to or performing surgeries on children as "gender affirming care" is wrong.
-A gay person who doesn't believe in gender ideology horseshit such as "queer theory" or people being "non-binary."
-A gay person who realizes they're more than just their sexuality and that they aren't beholden to any ideology or political party.
-A gay person who thinks men playing on women's sports teams or sharing their locker rooms is wrong.
-A gay person who thinks drag queens performing raunchy acts in front of kids or men parading around in front of kids in fetish gear during parades is wrong.

It's kind of a loaded question, but I mean could go on...

@kronk99 @thehill Here's the flaw in your theory. My daughter, a lesbian, and her partner, don't support that. In fact, they both believe it should be LGB without TQIA. Don't lump all gay people in with the push for trans/gender reasignment. There are plenty who are against it.
