One of the best additions in #SpiderManBrandNewDay has to be Jean DeWolff. After losing Aunt May, Peter has carried everything alone. He smiles behind the mask, but deep down he's still grieving. Jean doesn't try to replace May she simply becomes someone Peter can lean on when he needs it most. What I loved is that Marvel never forces their bond. There's no long backstory or exposition. You just believe it. Every conversation, every look, every moment between them feels genuine. She cares about Peter not because he's Spider-Man, but because she's worried about Peter Parker. In many ways, she's the warmth Peter has been missing since Aunt May's death. Sometimes, all someone needs isn't another superhero by their side... it's someone who simply asks, "Are you okay?" I really hope Marvel continues to develop this relationship in the next films. Not every hero needs a mentor. Sometimes, they just need someone who reminds them they're still human. ❤️🕷️
