@fantasyfrank22@BarstoolHubbs One of these days, the “pay the players” crowd will realize that baseball, as a sport, would’ve more entertaining in season and off season if we just had a salary cap. Floor too, but cap is a must.
@Topps@MLB This “collector”? How about this “breaker” found the card.
Also, what happened to box prices @topps? You could get these boxes for $167.99 in 2018 at release. Why are we paying almost double that now for a product that yields less?
@PCOregonDucks2 I always wonder, was it a group of people backing him, or just a dozen or so burner accounts he made and used them for pumping him and his game? And of course defending himself in the social media landscape?
@RyansCardssLLC The landscape of selling platforms and online markets is changing, but so too is the way cards are valued.
Repackers have brought a new vain to the marketplace and lo and behold, they need singles to exist.
Breaks beefed up sealed product market, repacks will beef up singles.
@AaronGleeman Let me get my boots on! Gonna need them to walk through all this bullshit.
Falvey is the man in charge, the buck stops with him, sounds like he needs to fire himself.
He must think Twins fans are idiots.
@tripleplaycards @atlanta_cards They are offering you the single largest platform along with protections. While eBay protections are not perfect, Third party is the Wild West. 13% cut is reasonable for what they do.
If you are gonna flip, you are gonna work on volume not margin.
@CardPurchaser Hahaha, so the breaker is the guys uncle? You can’t make this stuff up.
So let me get this straight,,,,is it just normal that the breaker gets the best teams and the schmucks buy up the rest and it subsidizes the break for the breaker? This is nuts….why do we do this?
@abeh6000@CardPurchaser Curious, why not just toss them with the bubble mailer, be happy someone tried to add further protection to the cards by using the junk cards, and not let it bother you?
We dumping our Misiorowski acquisitions? One more bad outing and they will be worth Pennies. The hobby is a fickle bitch. #thehobby#TheHobbyFamily#collect
@TheRealNickW86@CardPurchaser There is a strategy here where users have multiple accts, they bid with one, then stack the bid with the other account…..this drives price up and drives away other bidders, then last minute they cancel their high bid or get you to do it and tada! They get the card for the lower.
