@CalcCon@ycombinator@yaoqing_yang I am not Gupta's supporter. in fact, I was more likely to be yours, before your racist personality came out of the closet.
You are a pathetic person. Really worthless.
@CalcCon@ycombinator@yaoqing_yang you are such a pathetic person - who clearly has no work to do - given how much u are on here.. I almost pity you. No1 needs to work with u, & most will not - given how unhinged & racist u r. U are not important, and will never be. learn to live with it & maybe be a better human.

Deadly Flash Floods along Nepal-Tibet Border; Tibetan Community Feared to be Among Those Affected
https://t.co/dp9VSmWGNz
A devastating flash flood tore through Kyirong, Tibet, and Rasuwa, Nepal, on August 26, leaving communities shattered and hundreds feared dead or missing. The disaster destroyed villages and critical infrastructure along the Lhende River, which flows into Nepal as the Bhote Koshi.
But the full scale of the devastation in Tibet remains difficult to know. China’s tight information blockade, censorship and restrictions on independent media and humanitarian access are keeping the world in the dark. When lives are at stake, information should not be controlled by the CCP.
The international community must demand unfettered humanitarian and media access to Tibet, transparency and real-time cross-border disaster information, and an end to Beijing’s information blockade.
And language matters: Kyirong is Tibet. Tibet is not “Xizang.” We must not allow Beijing to control the language used to describe Tibetan places, people and tragedies.
Stand with the communities of Tibet and Nepal. Demand truth. Demand access. Stand with Tibet.

Large scale destruction on Nepal Tibet Border.
My guess, China’s tunnelling or hydropower activity may be a contributory factor that caused this particular glacier burst. China is undertaking undergrd excavation, hydropower & tunnelling projects across the Tibetan Plateau.
The bigger question was this detectable and if so, why was no warning shared downstream?
China has extensive satellite coverage of Tibet, while similar events occurred in July 2025.
This is not about assigning blame before facts are established. It is about transparency, early warning mechanisms and disaster cooperation.
If the lake was visible in satellite imagery, could an earlier warning have saved lives?
My heart aches for Nepal!
China destroyed the Himalayan Rivers flowing through it's territories, and now the price is being payed by the lower riparian nations!
