Before October 7th, I was not aware of the terrorist organizations that founded Israel.
I was not aware of the official education system systematically instilling hatred toward Muslims and Arabs into young minds in Israel.
I was not aware of the public practice of hatred toward Christians and black individuals in Israel without any consequences.
I was not aware of the term "lawn mowing" or the Israeli politicians supporting the murder of Palestinian children aged 4 and older.
I was not aware of the severity of the situation in Israeli prisons.
I was not aware of the stealing of Palestinian homes by U.S. citizens.
I did not know about the skin bank in Israel and organ stealing from Palestinians.
I did not know why UNRWA was founded.
I had not heard of Miko Peled, Norman Finkelstein, Gabor Mate, Ilan Pappe, or read their books.
I was not aware of the influence of the ADL and AIPAC in U.S. politics, education, and the economy.
I was not aware of the power of Zionism in the political and economic systems of European and Middle Eastern countries.
I was not aware of Palestinian culture and the wonderful character of its people.
I was not aware of the millions of world citizens who support justice regardless of their race, religion, nationality, gender, or affiliations, and despite the strong Zionist propaganda and the intimidating governments going after them.
I did not even have a Twitter account and had no idea about social media algorithms.
I know I am not alone, so the world has changed forever.
