From Ibadan to Achina: Empowering Minds, Building Nations
A few weeks ago, I visited Dominican University in Ibadan, Oyo State, where I donated ₦30 million to support their educational development. Yesterday, March 6th, I was at Peter University in Achina/Onneh, continuing my commitment to support institutions dedicated to shaping the minds and futures of our young people. On that occasion, I also donated another ₦30 million to Peter University to aid its growth and academic development.
For me, education is one of the most enduring investments that any society can make. It not only opens doors for individuals but also strengthens communities and prepares nations for the challenges of tomorrow. Whenever the opportunity presents itself, I consider it a privilege to contribute, even in a modest way, to institutions devoted to learning, character formation, and service to humanity.
My visit was not merely ceremonial; it was an affirmation of my belief that universities should remain centers where young men and women are inspired to dream beyond their immediate circumstances and see themselves as citizens of a wider world.

🇳🇬 JUST IN – Daniel Bwala Denies Daniel Bwala Live on Al Jazeera as His Past Statements Come for Him While Defending Tinubu Abroad
President Bola Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Media and Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala, flew to London to defend his principal and ended up contradicting himself on live TV.
Host Mehdi Hasan came armed with clips from 2023–2024 showing Bwala in opposition. He had called Tinubu “president-select,” accused him of certificate forgery, claimed the election was rigged with “bullion vans” and militias, and even declared:
“Even if you give Tinubu 30 years, he will still not do well.”
Bwala’s defence?
“I was in the opposition… that’s what opposition does.”
The discussion quickly turned to national issues. Hasan highlighted rising violence, noting deaths increasing from 8,700 in 2023 to over 11,000 in 2025, alongside mass kidnappings and inflation above 30 percent. Bwala repeatedly replied:
“I’m not aware of that report… Context matters… These are inherited problems… global factors… insurgents affect everyone.”
One striking moment came when Bwala clutched his water glass mid-interview, a gesture that immediately drew attention from viewers.
Hasan also pressed him on controversial appointments of officials accused of embezzlement. Bwala’s response:
“But subsidy removal!”
For 49 minutes, Bwala denied the Bwala of his past, showing just how hard it is to defend a government he once publicly criticized. @BwalaDaniel
Back in the 1990s I put my life on the line that Nigeria may be free. Today it became clear that freedom has been murdered. I call on Concerned Professionals to return to the struggle for the liberation of the Nigerian people from a cabal foisting on us advance election rigging
