Reguardless of your analogy. Men unknowingly support other men's violent behavior by not saying anything about their friend who says, or does off putting behaviors before crimes even happen. Then when it does happen they put distance between each other but never speak- out against that person. They fail to realize that because they never condemned their behavior they were actual co-signing it. Most violent men do not hide their behavior, it is just accepted, because testosterone and boys will be boys attitudes. Men think that avoiding each these violent men is condemning their behavior when it really is neglect to call them out on it.

Seroquel amongst other antipyschotic, snris, ssris, and benzos are known to researchers to have dangerous side effects. They believe the positive out comes outweigh the negative outcomes, a common reasoning amongst pharmaceuticals that bare a slew of side effects. I assume your children were raised in the '90s or 2000s? Back then, there was a stronger stay-at-home community in neighborhoods looking out for the kids, more outdoor play, better wages, and affordable childcare.When you compare that to today, most homes have a maximum of two children, there is little to no community support, and neighbors rarely know each other. Wages haven't kept up with living costs, forcing one or both parents to work overtime, and childcare is both incredibly expensive and poorly vetted. The system simply provided more structural help during your time than families receive now. Even with my two children—the youngest is 16 and the oldest is in her 20s—I had more support than parents of young children do today. Parenting under these current conditions feels nearly impossible, and it makes me question how stable the balance really was back then, considering how many children and spouses ultimately struggled to maintain supportive relationships.

I can only answer for myself and not all women. As I stated I am a mother, my core concern is child safety and pushing for better mental health safeguards so no more babies are harmed. Sadly there is no bringing thise babies back, so while we discuss her punishment, why don't we discuss the failures that contributed.

Let's be clear: If prosecution proved she did it, all evidence showed it was done while cogniscente and she received recieve a guilty, let her rot in hell.

Additionally an insanity plea doesn't absolve anyone. Nobody just walks free; they are involuntarily institutionalized. Statistics show that after eight years, 35% are still institutionalized, 47% are out under strict court and medical restraint, and only 15% are released unconditionally. Is eight years enough? Never. But our justice system is flawed across the board, and regular murderers often walk free in that same timeframe. Frankly, men dismissing the reality of the insanity plea doesn't surprise me, given how consistently that gender disregards its own mental health.

Turning high-profile tragedies into a competition to avoid male accountability is exhausting. Yes, women can commit violence, but statistics prove that men commit the vast majority of violent crimes. Using rare, specific cases to argue that women are equally dangerous is a toxic distraction. It is repulsive to see a mother's postpartum mental health crisis weaponized and criticized, especially when she actively reached out for help—something the majority of violent male perpetrators fail to do.

The fact that he used synthetic marijuana is what triggered his psychotic break. Like I outlined in my first post, the criteria to qualify for NGRI are incredibly strict. At the time of the crimes, he had no doctor, no diagnosis, and no prescription medication. If he had chosen to seek professional medical help instead of trying to self-medicate his symptoms away, he would have had a legitimate leg to stand on in court.
I didn’t know about this case before now. If the records showed he was actively trying to get help, had a diagnosed history, and was failed by doctors who neglected him, I would have been advocating for him and any other who receive subpar care resulting in tragedies.
We cannot ignore that antidepressants, benzos, and antipsychotics alter brain chemistry drastically. There is a massive track record going back to the 1990s of pharmaceutical giants losing major lawsuits because their drugs were linked to sudden suicides, murders, and extreme violence—the Eli Lilly Prozac cases are a prime example.
As I said, men just don’t get the help they need. The stigma around male mental health is devastating, and honestly, you guys need to take accountability for how you treat each other, call out the stigma among your peers, and break these cycles. Thay behavior is the center of the male toxcity that society complains about. Men deserve to be heard but not at the cost dismantling the positive progress women have advocated for on our own health.
