Public schools must now give students real time to run, play, reset, and burn energy. Studies back it, better physical health, clearer minds, improved focus, social skills, conflict resolution, and fewer classroom meltdowns.

Other states are lagging: Some at 15-20 minutes? That's barely enough to get outside. Incarcerated folks sometimes get more fresh air than our kids.

Let them go freestyle. No phones. Tag, monkey bars, real play, especially for boys who need to move. Bring back social development over screens and rows.

Obesity up, attention down, social skills tanking? This is part of the fix. More states should follow Oklahoma's lead, back to basics!
