I'll venture to guess : they don't meet fellow students; they don't teach classes ; they're hired by a professor with full tenure and ties to the CCP; working in a lab that is fully funded with a National Science Foundation grant paid for by American tax payers.
Whatever the specifics, this is an epic fail.
