If it’s clear and you well know it, do the right thing quickly. I’ve found that, the longer I wait, the cloudier the situation gets, the more the rationalizations to do otherwise mount and the less the Holy Spirit fills me. I don’t know if I’m right about this but, it seems to me, with the conviction of the Spirit come the courage and unction and fruit of the Spirit. If we keep resisting, they wane because the Spirit quenches. It won’t likely get easier to do what is right in that situation. Make haste to obey the Lord. If what is right is unclear, seek counsel from wise and godly people. Let us not call it waiting on the Lord when it is the Lord who is waiting on us.
