This is my big brother.
Our father died in 1986 from complications of colon cancer. By the time it was discovered, the cancer was inoperable, and he underwent surgery for a colostomy. Our family learned firsthand how devastating this disease can be.
Years later, my brother was diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer.
But his story did not end there. He fought with the same courage that has marked his entire life—as a Vietnam-era veteran, a survivor, a husband, a father, a brother, and a man who has never been afraid to face a difficult battle.
Today, he is in full remission.
I could not be prouder of him for sharing his story in this public service announcement. He is using one of the most painful chapters of our family’s history to encourage others to get screened, ask questions, and take their health seriously.
Please watch his story and please do not put off colon cancer screening.
Early detection can save your life and spare your family an unimaginable loss.

Vote Pete!

It’s finally happening.
After five years, the lawsuit against @radychildrens hospital is headed to trial.
The nurses fired for refusing the COVID “vaccine” are finally getting their day in court.
A judge has ruled the trial can be broadcast and I will be exposing what happens.
Stay tuned.
Padilla and the Dems absolutely pushed and accelerated California's mail-ballot expansion and centralized processing (Voter’s Choice Act/SB 450 in 2016 under Padilla as SOS, building on earlier no-excuse absentee rules, automatic DMV registration via New Motor Voter, vote centers, drop boxes, etc.). COVID was used to flip the switch to universal mailing statewide. That infrastructure was largely in place pre-2020.
But the Republican Party and politicians on both sides helped create (or at minimum failed to close) the door over decades.
- No-excuse absentee voting grew popular and expanded with broad support across parties in CA for years.
- Expansions like SB 450 passed in a Dem-controlled legislature and signed by Dem Gov. Brown, but the long-term bipartisan comfort with convenient mail voting (and lack of aggressive pushback on maintenance) set the stage.
- Post-2020, even as concerns grew, CA Republicans adapted to the system rather than dismantling the vulnerabilities.
This is exactly why I can't stand most politicians. They're more interested in partisan score-settling, fundraising off blame, and political theater than actually solving problems.
To solve a problem, you must first identify it accurately.
The real issue isn't just "who passed what law when." It's inaccurate voter rolls — ineligible or outdated registrations that create vulnerabilities in any high-volume mail/centralized system (harvesting risks, ballot mismatches, adjudication issues, etc.).
The solution is already on the books: NVRA §8.
The National Voter Registration Act requires states (and counties) to make a "reasonable effort" to maintain accurate voter rolls — proactively removing ineligible voters (death, moved, non-citizen, etc.) through uniform, nondiscriminatory programs. This includes cross-checks with other databases and proper documentation.
Reactive cleanups (responding to DOJ pressure or individual cases) are not enough. We need proactive, documented efforts and full transparency on what’s actually being done (or not done).
Demand the records. Aggregate data on cross-check dates, tools used (or requested), maintenance logs — with explicit “no records exist” statements where applicable. That’s how you verify compliance and fix the rolls.
Partisan “they did it” stories make for good posts. Real fixes come from enforcing existing law and transparency.
