Many of us testified at the NYS hearing. Home care workers are scarce. Their care is not valued even though they save so much for the Medicaid system by keeping ppl at home. Fund home care & save @CarlHeastie @SenGianaris@SenJoeAddabbo@zellnor4ny@nily

The transition to PPL has been a disaster. As of now, tens of thousands of people will lose services come April 1, when FIs are forced to close their doors. Keep being heard, demand the CDPAP Accountability Act.

🚨 On Friday I OFFICIALLY left @WomensCaucusNYC because I can’t reasonably stay part of a body that purports to stand up for women, but refuses to condemn the RAPE, MURDER, and CAPTIVITY of Jewish women by jihadi terrorists without adding “context”.
This makes them as useless as every other women’s org I’ve condemned for staying silent.
Meanwhile, this Caucus literally cannot even agree on what a WOMAN is.
I’M OUT.
Has everyone seen this investigative article by Caring Majority leader, @Michael_K_Solow on the transition of CDPAP to private-equity-backed corporation, PPL?
It's one of the best overviews of the situation—how it came about and the problems with PPL.

The agitator who threateningly told “Zionists” to get off the subway was sentenced to only four hours of community service.
If you attempt to purge Jews from public places like subways, then the worst you can fear in NY is community service. The State of New York is sending a dangerous message that emboldens antisemitism.
BREAKING: Noora Shalash, Director of Government Affairs for CAIR’s Kentucky branch, has been caught assaulting Jews in NYC.
“F*ck the Jew… f*ck the Zionists.”
.@NDiament: Congress failed the American Jewish community in our greatest time of need.
The Antisemitism Awareness Act must pass this time around—because history demands it.
CDPAP consumers & workers statewide appreciate your support, @LindaBRosenthal - legislators like you & your colleagues can stop this before it's too late.
Nothing ever shocks me anymore.
Johannah King-Slutzky, the one who infamously begged for “humanitarian aid” for the violent, pro-Hamas rioters who took over Hamilton Hall, has been REWARDED by Columbia with a TEACHING position. This is someone who was ARRESTED at the encampment and suspended—and now she’s been entrusted to teach “CONTEMPORARY WESTERN CIVILIZATION”, a MANDATORY course for ALL undergraduates.
Columbia must be completely defunded and stripped of accreditation—this is absolutely disgusting.
Repost this if you agree. Let’s make sure EVERYONE knows what an absolute shithole Columbia has become.
House Dem leader Hakeem Jeffries:
“Sinwar is gone. Sinwar is gone. And Hamas is on the run... and Iran is at one of its weakest points in decades.
“We can't take our foot off the gas pedal until Iran is brought to its knees — for the good of the world.“
This is truly unbelievable. The Red Cross has issued a condemnation against Israel for taking photos of Palestinian terrorists before they are released from prison.
Somehow they have no problem with hostages being paraded around a crowd of jeering Gazans.
NEW: The Red Cross reprimanded Israel for taking photos of the release of Hamas prisoners from Israeli prisons.
Meanwhile in Gaza… they have yet to condemn Hamas’s spectacle and actively participated in a staged hostage release photoshoot.
The hypocrisy is obscene.
Israel’s legislation against UNRWA takes effect today. As of today, UNRWA will be required to cease operations in Israel and vacate its facilities in Jerusalem.
No sovereign nation should tolerate a so-called humanitarian agency that collaborates with terrorists. UNRWA has failed its mission, deepened the conflict, and won’t be missed.
Israel is ready to work with real humanitarian organizations—ones that actually uphold humanitarian values.
The ICC’s treatment towards Israel and equivocating to Hamas was unacceptable.
We should absolutely sanction the ICC.
I plan to vote for the bill and respectfully urge my colleagues to join me.
The UN remained silent when Kfir Bibas was stolen from his crib at just 9 months old, and the UN remained silent when he marked his second birthday in Hamas captivity. Kfir deserves more than the UN’a silence. We will continue to fight until he and all the hostages return home.
To all the countless feminist organizations who have stayed silent: You did absolutely nothing to free these women.
You should be embarrassed and ashamed.
