I understand people pushing back on Rust because they care about architectures with no rustc support. I understand people pushing back on Rust because of concerns around dependency management. But anyone pushing back on Rust because they think C is just fine is not to be trusted.
rust can be dangerous stuff despite it being extremely slow; its creation will irreversibly remove oxygen from a non-ventilated confined space; eventually causing an atmosphere incompatible with human life.
