@zweiwalker89607 Issue with Oblivion and Skyrims combat is they're both really boring, and as things get harder they take so, so much longer.
Morrowinds combat is also not great, but it's tied into the much better character stuff and has the decency to be over quicker.
@soonrightaway The Patriots themselves being broadly likable people who made some terrible decisions that got away from them is much more interesting than actually being an organised conspiracy.
The reveal itself was kinda clunky imo, but the premise is solid
@ChongWingk71066 Honestly Cloud being a socially awkward dork constantly trying to present himself as a stoic badass, but still taking every children’s game and dumb side activity he comes across 100% seriously is legit funny
@yeo_sage I had a guide book that came with a magazine called “How to beat Ocarina of Time in less then 60 hours” or something and as a kid I thought that was mind blowing
@FunkyStrong69 If the tailing section was like 20% the length of what it ended up being it would be pretty fun, but it’s super dragged out in a game where most of the fun bits are too brief
@empyrealviolet Basically all we know about him is people liked him and he resolved the dragon conflict peacefully instead of how Marika handled the Fire Giants. So chances are he wasn’t that bad as far as golden order types go
@veloketh Honestly adjusting for stats I think he’s one of the harder fights in the game. It’s just that you can power level through him in ways you can’t with the end game fights.
@lutyrannus Combination of some voiced scenes and a large amount of less-dramatic or optional dialogue be text is the ideal. Nothing takes me out of a game like voice lines being repeatedly cut short because I simply read faster.
@hausofdecline@Nutsackdealer Hot Dream Theater take: they’re at their best when they stop trying to write songs and just go whole hog into masturbatory bullshit. It’s the only time they sound like they’re enjoying themselves
