Selling two 2012 616c John Deere headers that have the ARRO Milo conversion that was done last year. Asking $78,000 a piece. Also have a 2016 616c that is still a corn head. All headers are in good shape. We are switching over to Claas is the reason for selling them. DM for info
Got the big boy CTHC treater from @USC_LLC up and going. Kicking out some WB 4595 at 2500 bushels per hour. Coverage looks great. Added this year to speed up load out times for semi loads. We’re farmers first and understand nobody likes to wait when it’s go time
Finally got off the sprayer and was able to catch a video from start to finish, it looks like they are getting it dialed in. They should knock out 100,000 bh this week. Looks like the gravity tables are working great
10 days of the Claas leaving me chocking on its dust as it laps me again. Also this WB4792 doesn’t ever look like a top variety. You can see a jack rabbit run down the row, but man it packs the grain in the head and the stand ability is second to none
@luke_jaeger@MitchMeyer88 WB4595 is a CSO variety, so you have to buy the seed from a certified seed dealer every year. Like Luke said though, well worth the cost. WB4595 along with WB4792 are 2 of our top performers, both being CSO varieties.
All of these plots were sown at 200k seeds/a. Incredible how much tillering and compensation can happen if weather conditions in the fall and spring are ideal. Plus, non limiting fertility levels. Great collaboration with @hortonseed near Leoti
Adding 1100 bph gravity table and cascading aspiration to the seed cleaning operation this year. Two gravity tables got here today on new trailer with the help from @luke_jaeger @mjaeger6 trucking company. Be a busy 30 days for a couple of guys getting it built
The wheat industry has its work cut out for it when it comes to WSMV, we have made some strides since the really bad outbreak of 2017 but this is going to be something that plagues western Kansas wheat farmers for some time to come @jp_gilp@KSUWheat@ablubaugh84@CSUCrops
Handle it better. I gave us a 50/50 chance of not seeing anything if the weather helped us out. We wanted to see what one of the best products out in the market could do going into a shit show like what was left next to us, we will not make it out unscathed
Wheat Streak Mosaic Virus is starting to show up, This is a 1/2 section of Guardian The field that spread it was never touch after last harvest, we knew the volunteer had WSMV in it cause we had plants tested at KSU, we bypassed planting it till the end to give temps time to cool
