Carter Jensen and Jac Caglianone need to play every day and be the top priority at whatever positions you see them playing long-term. If that comes at the expense of aging veterans or “platoon” candidates, so be it. Bat them 3 and 4 and play them every day! They must develop!
Jac Caglianone took a while but ladies and gentlemen he’s arrived. Since April 24th:
2 HRs
5 RBI
.565 slug
.370 OBP
154 wRC+
.304 ISO
14.8% BB rate
33.3% K rate
The strikeouts will go down. The walks will go up as the power creeps up. I’m geeked man.
I absolutely LOVE how amped Cags gets when he gets a big hit. These moments mean something to him.
In the past he has tried to force the big moment but he is starting to let it come to him. Clutch can’t be forced, only refined.
Down to their final out … TWICE! And twice, the Royals answered 👑
💥 Jac Caglianone ties it in the 9th
💥 Lane Thomas walks it off in the 10th
Kansas City is the first team to hit multiple game-tying or go-ahead HRs when down to their final out since the Braves vs. Mets on July 4, 1985.
Carter Jensen is currently the fourth best odds to win AL RoTY at +1600
Besides RBI’s (hard to do on the Royals) he is keeping up or even outpacing his competition stat wise
His opportunities will only increase from here on. #fountainsup
I won't ever give up on this team; I've watched many years of bad Kansas City baseball. But this team, with so much potential, has me really down. Still hoping we find some way to turn it around; baseball is my happy place and I could really use that right now 💙

Of all the Jayhawks on last year’s team, Kohl Rosario was the one I wanted to keep the most.
He didn’t have the best season, but his heart, work ethic and athleticism were second to none on the team.
He’s 100% going to breakout next season. Really hope he does that at Kansas
@SasquatchVinnie Not a chance. The White Sox are better and are playing pretty well the Royals are not. Sad!! The WBC potential of this team seems to be looming over their head still.
