If you are too big for the small things, you are too small for the big things…
This might be the most unique team I’ve ever worked with… It was a joy to speak to the @UNI_wrestling team last night as they prepare for the Big 12 Championships!
They are incredibly talented with eight nationally ranked division one wrestlers, but that’s not what makes them unique. There is a humility about this team that is so different. Each time I share with them every single member of the team looks me in the eye and shakes my hand. They do it when they walk into the room and when they leave room. After they shared a meal, they spent some time picking up scraps off the floor and made sure they left the room in good shape... and per usual Head Coach Doug Schwab takes out the trash after the meeting is done (as pictured in action!) :)
This program is committed to the little things and fully prepared for the big things! Good luck at the Big 12 Championships!

Wrestlers. Be disciplined with your diet. You have the rest of your life to eat anything you want, but a very short time to be the best in the state/country/world. You know what tastes better than pizza now? Championship pizza.
