Doing some thinking, because we’re seeing people trying to convince us that “the boycott isn’t enough” despite its CRAZY success in bringing down the revenue.

I think those people are expecting INSTANT gratification from this, like the CDG got when they spread those false rumors. That was never this movement’s purpose or intent. If that’s something that you want to pursue, I ask that you direct that anger into something more productive and meaningful. Maybe take some time away from X for your health too.

I have a feeling that even with the revenue for Caleb’s banner being in the trash, they’re not going to be able to release Valko this month. They (allegedly) have a lawsuit coming up this month and with the timing, I can only assume it’s related to Valko’s smear campaign.

I can only ask that you keep boycotting (it’s easy and free to do). You don’t have to show up to social media every single day. I recommend living your life to the best of your ability, checking in, and doing dailies when your energy allows it.

I think we should open discussion for new ideas for the movement, but please be open to having those ideas critiqued. Critique is a tool to find the best possible outcome. But not all ideas are not worth sharing and discussing. Just be careful of getting defensive - we are all on the same team.

Continuing to do art and charity should be our primary activities. Since our movement is about love and anti-cyberbullying. The road is longer than the CDG’s, but it will be more rewarding to know we won this way in the end.

People saying "the boycott isn't enough" is troubling. The boycott is holding up amazingly well. Their revenue is lower than it has ever been! And think of how much they have grown since launch.

I totally agree with the assessment that they are looking for instant gratification. I get where that feeling comes from, too. We are frustrated and exhausted. The thought of having to continue this way indefinitely makes it even harder.

Unfortunately, that's the nature of boycotting. Companies know that people lose momentum after a few months or so. They anticipate people getting fatigued and giving up. And they plan around that. Some will go from 3-6 months minimum moving on as if nothing happened. I believe the Infinity Nikki boycott went on for four months, and still not everything worked out in the players' favor. And it took Infold almost a year to build up some measure of trust again. We are only a little over a month into ours. We have to be prepared to last a long longer than that.

Just because we haven't gotten what we wanted as fast as we wanted does not mean that our boycott is going poorly. At the moment, the best way to know how we are doing is to look at the numbers. And the numbers indicate that we are doing what we need to be doing.

Also, as much as it hurts to see Infold throwing any of their LIs to the wolves, the fact that they have been shuffling things around as they have is a good sign. That's not to give them the benefit of the doubt that they are working behind the scenes in our favor necessarily. But it very much seems like they are stalling for time. They have not dopped a new multi without him, so that tells me that they have at least kept the option open for Valko to come in the future.

We are at a historic low for LaDS. If we keep it sustained that way by the time all obstacles to lauching Valko have been removed, then I believe it is only a matter of time. Remember, LaDS is a key cultural export for China. Infold is expected to maintain their global audience. If we keep demanding Valko, they will have to bring him back sooner or later. Besides that, again, the numbers show that it is in their best interest to bring Valko back. We just have to hold the line until the time comes when they can do so without all hell breaking loose again.
