@PulpLibrarian THERE'S A TV SHOW?!?!

On a serious point: we study and archive most cultural history through printed, recorded or transcribed information held in physical format. We still don't quite know what to do with cultural information that only existed online, especially if it was on fora or websites that were not backed up.
Sooner than we think the last remnants of Internet 1.0 will be beyond reasonable use. Relying on the Wayback Machine and some volunteer archives may not be enough to really capture the unique experiment of user-generated digital content, before the age of AI obliterates it.
And this leads to pulp hallmark no. 6: steal from the opera, not from the theatre. In opera, the story is usually simple because the passion and the drama are driven by the music.

Alright folks, we have a big ask: we need to raise at least $45,000 for our upcoming winter field season and we need to so by the end of TODAY, which is Minnesota’s Give to the Max Day—a day of giving in Minnesota.
