@AaronHill1980@ABDanielleSmith The Canadian PM is to prioritize making official statements on the death of American political activists? Since when? Ms. Smith idolized Mr Kirk and his polarizing rhetoric which is the only reason she’s commenting now. It’s free delicious red meat for her and her followers.
@sf_andreas@NBCNews You’re gonna seriously sit there with your utter shit show of a healthcare system, and unironically try to use US healthcare costs per capita to prove something about health?
@tippy2k2@LogOffAlready@RottenInDenmark It’s not even a good rule of thumb, it’s garbage by any metric. The ONLY reason it’s in use is because it’s simple. BMI can be effortlessly plugged into a patient’s chart, but it provides no useful information about the patient’s health, or anything else.
@Eyes_Wide_Open8@RonJeromy2@CaptainDick12 Expressing personal emotions of sadness because I’m genuinely unhappy about the future of the place I’ve always known as home makes ME a Karen, but calling someone names because you disagree with them makes you what, a hero?
@RonJeromy2@CaptainDick12 Danielle Smith makes me want to leave the province I was born and raised in, the province where I’ve spent my whole life, the province I love. I’m so sad about what Alberta has become.
@AxelTallman@Cynical_Adult If avoiding those foods becomes a huge part of their life (missing a friend’s birthday because they can’t eat the food, spending more on food then they can afford, restrictions interfering with work or family) it is definitely an eating disorder!
@NovaNat1921 @punished_cait It doesn’t mention money, I don’t think it’s that they can’t afford a celebration, it’s more likely that mom feels like shit from treatment and can’t handle the weight of holiday obligations. They need help to give their daughter a happy/merry/normal Christmas
@ai_action @Artists_Ali So if you want to actually look into it with no preconceived ideas, you’ll find there’s not one illness that is the direct result of adipose tissue on the body. And aside from all that, health is not moral, and your response is exemplifying exactly who OP is talking about.
@amandabb__ My brother had one growing up in the 80s. It was so warm and comfy. I didn’t get one cause I had a Princess canopy bed (which I loved, but you couldn’t get a canopy bed that was also a waterbed). My aunt had one too and we loved sleeping over at her house so we could sleep in it!
@hankgreen This is why kids write their letters backwards or upside down when they first start learning. The concept that an object, like a chair for example, is still a chair regardless of orientation, is learned, and needs to be unlearned when it comes to reading and writing letters
@Michele92280286@danceswithfat But…all those obstacles magically disappear when it comes to weight loss surgery?? They’ll deny you surgical intervention for almost everything, but then suggest bariatric surgery in the same damn breath! Eff off with your “let’s not forget about the thins!” BS.
@leftofla @chadloder Is his handicap what’s in question though? Must one be legally blind, functionally blind, or any kind of blind, to carry a cane or walking stick and expect not to be arrested for it?
@elonmusk If only there was some way of determining whether someone was an impersonator or not…like some kind of verification system that didn’t rely on just the honour system. Maybe like a checkmark or something? Just spitballing here.
@lonerunnerNZ @DianaCC2013@WinterEracer@neiltyson You’re not committed enough to your conviction to even make sure you speak factually about it? Interesting that you choose the word “lazy” so often to describe women making heavy decisions about their bodies and what direction the rest of their entire life will take.
@lonerunnerNZ @DianaCC2013@WinterEracer@neiltyson Citation absolutely needed on that statement my dude, and also, so what?? Why are you the arbiter of abortion deservedness?
