@CBartleyRivals @JaysonNickol I knew that was the goal a long time ago. But never could do it. Thinking about giving the hands time in that portion of the swing from the top down to around shaft parallel is what was the “ah ha” moment for me today.

@JaysonNickol Get to here and then “hit it”. My feel was an entirely different spot in the swing where I needed to apply the acceleration

@JaysonNickol Feel like before today I’d get to the top of the backswing and then think “I need to hit the ball from here”. Today’s lesson shifted my thinking to feeling like needing to hit the ball from the essentially shaft parallel position.

@JaysonNickol Been trying to be decent at this for a while, resetting to feeling like the takeaway needs to be smooth, AND the move down from the top to shaft parallel also needs to be slow/smooth, & then apply the accelerator through impact was the huge change (from the students perspective)
