We welcome back @SaudahMadaada, a die-hard supporter of the @NUP_Ug and President Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu @HEBobiwine , who has been in detention since 10 September 2025 following her arrest at the Uganda–Kenya border in Busia.

While we welcome her regained freedom, it is unfortunate that she was forced to plead guilty to participating in an unlawful military drill on 12 February 2025—an offence she did not commit. Saudah did not even set foot at Makerere Kavule, where the alleged incident took place.

Her release is therefore a moment of relief, but the circumstances surrounding her detention and conviction raise serious concerns that deserve attention and scrutiny. #freeallpoliticalprisonersug

Before the viral video came out which showed our brother Sam Mugumya emanciated and visibly incapacitated, we had been told about the same by a comrade who had just been released from the torture chambers of Kasenyi SFC military barracks.
This is what he said on 4th February this year.
We have now been told that our brother King Zale was also subjected to gross torture that he cannot walk by himself. Museveni and his criminal gangs will and must be held to account for all these crimes against humanity.
