For the last 13 years, the Bush Center has proudly carried the flag as the “new kid on the presidential center block.” Today, the @BarackObama Presidential Center takes on that role. On behalf of all of us at the Bush Center, congratulations to the @ObamaFoundation team. Take it from us: once the pomp and circumstance of opening passes, the real fun begins: serving the American people and guests from around the world. We’ll be cheering you on from Dallas!

@RealVoiceofHawk This one breaks my heart, Steve. I know you two were close. John Sterling was a huge influence in my dream to get into sports broadcasting . His play-by-play during Hawks games in the early–mid ’80s was legendary and etched into my childhood—“Bullseye!”
RIP, Mr. Sterling.
@IngrahamAngle Cmon Laura! So this is a problem, but what happened in TX isn’t? A Republican-led legislature handled redistricting with no direct vote from citizens. In VA, voters signed off. Don’t act like republicans have some moral authority on gerrymandering!
@KaitMarieox When your argument relies on phrases like “chemically castrate children” and “9th month abortion,” you’ve already left reality. That’s not a moral argument—it’s propaganda meant to shut down thinking.
@KaitMarieox If the only way to defend this is by leaning on wildly exaggerated claims about the other side, that tells you everything you need to know. That’s not a principled argument—it’s avoidance.
@GeraldoRivera He exaggerates” isn’t harmless—it’s a pattern of bad judgment. And excusing it over and over doesn’t make it go away, it just lowers the standard for what you’re willing to accept.
@PressSec How is this brilliant? When the potential fallout includes global energy disruption and military conflict, calling it “brilliant” feels less like analysis and more like branding. Real strategy isn’t measured by headlines—it’s measured by risk management.
