Honored to mentor the six incredible teams in the inaugural MedVR Vision Pro design sprint in Boston.

Yesterday marked the first major review as they approach the end of an intense 8-week sprint. These teams have been working closely with physicians to build cutting-edge medical simulation apps for Vision Pro using native Swift and RealityKit.

It’s inspiring to see how rapidly we’re advancing spatial computing in healthcare. MedVR is helping lead the charge by integrating immersive technology into clinical training and medical education.

I always love waking up to a new Apple Immersive Video, and this time it’s a brand-new series called “VIP”, with its first episode exploring the magical atmosphere in and around Yankee Stadium.

But what I especially love about these is the storytelling. It’s clear they’ve put a lot of effort into telling a story that’s not just about the sport, but also about the fans, the players, the people involved and the city of New York. It’s also great to see new elements like historic footage being used to enhance the narrative.

This is as close as a mortal being will get to experiencing most of these things, so I really appreciate that Vision Pro owners get to enjoy it for free.
