My heart breaks💔The staff member who gave George a ride back to the pits yesterday was interviewed about what happened.

He said that when he went over to George, he told him, “It’s okay, bro. You can do better next time.” George just kept his head down. Even after he got on the bike, he was still sitting there with his head hanging, so the staff member thought he should take the long way back, give George a bit more time to calm down and cool off, and ride slowly back to the rear of the pits.
When asked whether George had held onto his waist, he said no. He said George just looked completely drained, like he was trying to hold himself together and hold back tears, and didn’t even seem to know what to do with his hands.

Huge respect to this staff member. The kindness of a complete stranger showed George more care than some people in his own team did.

Enggak gampang untuk memutuskan mengalah dengan kondisinya sebagai pesaing terdekat Kimi Antonelli dalam perebutan gelar.

Tapi George Russell tanpa pikir panjang sebenarnya dia duluan yang inisiatif untuk jadi team player dengan pertimbangan: jaga Mercedes double podium. Dia langsung patuhi team order untuk beri jalan ke Antonelli dan lakukan tugasnya untuk amankan podium ketiga.

Meski dikejar Lewis Hamilton yang punya ban soft baru, penempatan mobil Russell & traksinya saat exit selalu bagus untuk menutup ruang pembalap Ferrari tersebut.

Bisa amankan P3 merupakan hasil optimal yang bisa ia dapat dan layak diapresiasi untuk bisa bermain tim dengan kondisi seperti sekarang.
