We are with you @JAWongRacing 💪🏻 what @HIWUNews and @hisa_us did to you is shameful. Keep
fighting if you are able! You have the support of so many https://t.co/IhcV81pF4l
@RagozinSheets At some point people in leadership and media will start calling out the devastating injustices and make changes. Until then trainers will go broke trying to defend themselves from this incompetence. It’s bull 💩 and no one should tolerate this anymore 🤬
Respecting players and giving all an even playing field seems like a reasonable request for long term sustainability. The players are voicing their opinions with their wagering dollars as they should.
Fanduel CEO Amy Howe, who recently pulled the plug on the company’s horse racing network, has been fired. Can we please revisit that decision to end FanDuel Racing and put 150-plus people out of work? https://t.co/yYZ9LODwbB
Racing and breeding are a very important part of the economy in the regions where they exist. They create many jobs and also keep the surroundings green. Support the racing and breeding industries in your area!
Thoroughbred Park always beautiful in downtown Lexington, surprised HISA hasn’t threatened the city of Lexington to remove the riders & whips though 🙄
It’s not the point of the letter to the editor, but I couldn’t help but notice the photo is from one of those races where @keenelandracing abandons fan-friendly color-coded saddle towels and goes with same color on all starters, making it difficult to follow which horse is which. (I know, we should all be able to memorize silks for a dozen horses.)
Not all traditions are worth keeping.
For those interested in gaining some insights into the FOX/NYRA TV productions, and how the coming FanDuel changes might be mitigated, at least to some extent, this RailTalk podcast segment is well worth watching.
I got into racing because of the on-air personalities of TVG (FanDuel). I knew nothing about racing, but these guys were so funny & entertaining. FanDuel shutting down the racing coverage is a travesty, for everyone involved: The fans, the tv crew, and racing in general.
@PapaBeez The worst thing that happened to racing in last 20 years was closure of Hollywood Park. People don’t understand what Hollywood meant to California racing.
Marcus…
You will never be relevant.
Also, you boasting at people’s careers being in jeopardy makes me comfortable that you are who I thought you were….
Be better.
