So many people put themselves on the line day in and day out for Repeal. @anitambyrne told us about the bravery required to do this in rural Ireland.

Our thoughts are with Vicky Phelan’s family and loved ones today. Her bravery and tenacity in the face of this horrible illness to publicly call out the failures of the HSE again and again was awe inspiring. Rest in Peace

One of the darkest days for women’s rights in my lifetime. Obviously the immediate consequences will be suffered by women in the US - but this will embolden anti-abortion & anti-women forces in other countries too. Solidarity doesn’t feel enough right now - but it is necessary.
Can’t even describe the rage I feel today. Roe V Wade overturned. A woman in Malta at risk of death due to denial of abortion.
Pro-life that’s a lie. You don’t care if people die. Fuck anti-choicers forever
I made this document b/c I know my friends + loved ones in the repro movement don't have the capacity to answer all questions, or tell folks where to go + what to do. I made this so you can turn your anger into action. We all can do something, here's how:

The overturn of Roe v Wade is just one of the many attacks on bodily autonomy we've seen in the US. Our rights are never protected under capitalism, in Ireland we've seen firsthand what an abortion ban can do. You can't ban abortions, you can only ban legal abortions.
Last year myself & @audsleonard went on a road trip to the south of France. We alternated between @howtheyeswaswon & @rteliveline on #thechange. Honestly, I’ll never understand how Irish women aren’t in the streets, burning shit down
Terrifying news coming out of the US today. Solidarity with everyone who is fighting for access to safe abortions across the US. We know how you’re feeling today.
Today is the first anniversary of Poland’s tribunal ruling enactment, falling just two days after the most recent confirmed death of a pregnant woman, Agnieszka.
Poland's abortion laws are lethal. #AniJednejWiecej
@PhilippaWrites Thank you! It was very important to us to be inclusive and try to incorporate as many unheard voices as we could, so this is the best feedback we could get!
Really enjoying the @howtheyeswaswon podcast about the #RepealThe8th campaign in Ireland. Fascinating history that built up to the historic vote and loving the quietly inclusive language without making a big fuss about it #PregnantPeople
Our whole podcast series was about how despite the law, activists in Ireland provided information and services to women and pregnant people, and eventually those same activists changed the law here in Ireland. Now we can help people in Poland get that same care. Donate if you can
